Summer Camps


MAKE THIS SUMMER GO DOWN IN HISTORY!

Set in the beauty of a Wisconsin State Forest, nestled among historic buildings, these camps will be adventure-filled, educational, and of course FUN!

DAY CAMPS

A GRAND ADVENTURE

July 18 (grades 3-5)
August 1 (grades 6-8)

Spend the day traveling back in time with your grandchild! Share stories while you help with farm chores, tend our fragrant, floral, and food producing heirloom gardens, and try historic trades in our workshops!

Note: Each youth camper must be accompanied by a registered adult camper.

TIME TRAVEL ADVENTURE

July 15 & August 12 (grades 3-5)
July 29 (grades 6-8)

Kids! Grab a grown up and bring them back in time! Pairs of kids and their adults will travel across thesite from 1840s to 1910s as they help with wood stove cooking, meet heritage farm animals, and try their hand as an apprentice in a fun-filled day of play, questions, and stories.

Note: Each youth camper must be accompanied by a registered adult camper.

LITTLE HOUSE ADVENTURE

July 31 (grades 3-5)
July 17 & August 14 (grades 6-8)

Step into the life of Wisconsin’s own Laura Ingalls for a day. Explore life in a one room cabin, travel to the general store, meet Morgan Horses and practice your penmanship in a real one room school.

A MAKER’S ADVENTURE

July 30 (grades 3-5)
July 16 & August 13 (grades 6-8)

Do you like to make things? Young makers will spend a day exploring makers in history as they try their hand working leather, transforming wool to yarn, and working alongside our blacksmith, all while exploring the science and art of these living traditions.

June 28-30, July 12-14, July 26-28, August 9-11
(grades 8-12)

Be a part of the team for three full days of fun! Dress in historic clothes and help guests get hands-on with Wisconsin’s unique history! If your child likes digging into subjects, talking to people, and learning this is a great camp to gain social skills that will take them into the future!
