Legends & Lore

Legends & Lore

Friday Oct 15 & Saturday Oct 16 | 5:30 – 9:30 pm
Friday Oct 22 & Saturday Oct 23 | 5:30 – 9:30 pm

Eerie tales lurk in the dark, as legends and lore come to life in the woods of Wisconsin. Troves of supernatural tales brought to the state over the generations come to life as you explore the Crossroads Village after dark at this always spooky, sometimes scary, family-friendly Halloween event at Old World Wisconsin.

Tonight the veil is thin between this world and the next. Venture into the dark of the woods, encounter traveling performers around their fire, hear eerie tales performed by lantern light, and attempt a haunted maze under the light of the moon.

Legends & Lore is sponsored by WaterStone Bank.

Explore Old World Wisconsin

For centuries, people left old worlds for a new life in Wisconsin. They faced unfamiliar landscapes and languages, learned to establish farms and communities, and blended the old with the new. Welcome to the world they created. Welcome to Old World Wisconsin.

Through stories of perseverance, explore the lives of those who called this place home. At the core of the storytelling is the understanding that history is about the past, present, and future, and is a story we tell together.
