Tale of the Ridgeway Ghost

Die Nachtkrapp

Harmony Town Hall | Every 10 minutes

Gather ‘round as players from the KMPerform School for Arts and Performance (KMP) present a short and spinetingling cautionary tale based on an old German/Austrian folk tale about a mythical raven who wreaks havoc for both farmers and children.

Baba Yaga

1910s Finnish Farm | Every 10 minutes

Who is Baba Yaga? Find out more about this powerful figure in Slavic folklore in a short play featuring the KMP players. This supernatural old woman lives in a hut that stands on chicken legs and helps or hinders those passing through her forest. Could she be lurking in the woods of OWW?

Victorian Séance

A supernatural experience awaits those brave enough to join in  a 19th-century séance, facilitated by a medium who attempts to communicate with spirits from across the veil.

St. Dunstan and the Devil

Blacksmith Shop | Every 5 minutes

Listen to the fable of a blacksmith brave enough to shoe the Devil’s cloven hoof. This English folktale sheds light on the old tradition of hanging horseshoes over doors for good luck – and why it may help keep “Old Nick” at a distance. Doors to the Blacksmith Shop doors will close for each performance.

Trial of the Beast of Bray Road

Caldwell Town Hall | Every 15 minutes

Step into a town hall meeting to learn about the terrifying beast who has been pillaging and murdering throughout the town. Could this terrifying half-wolf creature be in the room?

Grimm Stories

Base Ball Field | Every 10 minutes

Step into the world of the Brothers Grimm, where shadows dance and ancient secrets whisper through the trees. Gather ‘round for story time as we bring to life these classic fireside fairytales that have enchanted audiences for centuries.

Anansi the Spider

Wagon Shop | Every 10 minutes

Enjoy this felt board “puppet” show based on a West African folk tale of a trickster god known as a rogue, a mischief maker, and a wise, lovable creature who triumphs over larger foes.

Tale of the Ridgeway Ghost

German Hill | Every half hour from 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Ready for a ghost story? Settle in as a storyteller spins the hair-raising tale of the Ridgeway Phantom, two gruesome 1840 murders, and why those unfortunate souls are rumored to haunt the town to this day. This scary yarn isn’t recommended for the littlest ghosts and ghouls.
