Join us as we tuck in around the table in our 1910s Finnish Immigrant Home to explore historic recipes, see what modern technologies looked like in the early 20th century, and learn to make apple porridge (omenapuuro), cream cake (kermakakku), and Alexander Tarts(Alexanterintortut). And don’t worry, we will certainly make time for the Finnish tradition of Fika- enjoying a cup of coffee or tea with company as we chat and enjoy a taste of all that we’ve made. You’ll leave with recipes, tips, and stories to tell!
