A blacksmith poking the fire

Start with sheep fleece and finish with your very own wool yarn as you learn to wash, prepare and card wool. Try your hand at using an 1800s spinning wheel and take home a skein of professionally made yarn from our sheep.

Prove your mettle as you heat and work steel at the warmth of the forge. Work with a talented smith and craft your very own keepsakes as you learn the timeless trade of smithing.

Can you smell the bread rising? Step into an Old World kitchen and tend to an 1880s stove as you use historic recipes, cooking methods and utensils to bake hearty loaves, simmer signature dishes and more.

Heat up copper kettles, mix fresh ingredients and sip brews straight out of the 1860s—during this interactive brewing workshop, you’ll have a hoppin’ good time uncovering the rich and exciting history of farm ale brewing!

History comes alive when you’re the one holding the hammer, stirring the kettle or spinning the wheel. These workshops put you right in the story.

Are you ready to make your own history?

The forge is warm, the pot is bubbling and there’s a spinning wheel with your name on it. Don’t miss your chance to craft history by hand!
