Try out the 19th-century lifestyle by working together in the Schottler bakehouse to prepare a sunrise meal the same way many early immigrant farmers did! We'll work up an appetite as we feed the farm animals and tend to the gardens. We may even find some eggs or berries to add to our meal.
As the stove is lit, you will chop, stir, season and fry to prepare a hearty German-American breakfast. View the full Rousing with the Roosters breakfast menu (PDF, 914 KB). Our abundant breakfast will be served family style on Schottler farmhouse porch. Ask about gluten-free options.
Admission to the museum is included with your ticket, so stay for the day and enjoy the rest of Old World Wisconsin. The museum opens at 10 am.
