For your convenience, we offer casual dining in the lower level and the garden patio of the octagonal Clausing Barn.
Create Your Own Picnic
If you'd rather eat outdoors instead of in the café, we'll be happy to pack your food to go. If you picnic on museum grounds,
we ask that you don't take food into the buildings. Please put any garbage into trashcans.
Facility Rental

History of Clausing Barn
The barn was built in 1897 in Mequon (Ozaukee County) by German barn builder Ernst Clausing. Though Clausing built many octagonal barns, the barn that bears his name at Old World Wisconsin is among the few that survive.
