Rituals of Spring Weekends: Women, Work and Reform

Saturday, May 12, 2012 - Sunday, May 13, 2012   10 am–5 pm Saturday, 11 am–5 pm Sunday

With spring come annual rituals — cleaning house, planting gardens, preparing the farmsteads for the growing season, or taking time to honor those who've come before us. Join us as we kick off our 2012 season with these special spring weekends — including plenty of opportunities to lend a hand. On this weekend, learn about the other chores Wisconsin women of the 19th century would perform besides spring cleaning. Free admission to all moms on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 13, only.
