Harvest Weekends: Labor and Libations
Saturday, September 01, 2012 - Sunday, September 02, 2012 10 am–5 pm Saturday, 11 am–5 pm Sunday
September is the time to begin the work of the harvest and prepare for winter. Join us on these special September weekends as we cook and preserve, learn a little and enjoy the landscape. On this weekend, you can try some of the jobs performed by people on farms and in small towns in the 1800s. Learn a bit about beverages that working men and women enjoyed as well.
A special thank you to media sponsor WUWM 89.7 FM Milwaukee Public Radio for sponsoring programming for this event.
Adults $16; children (5-17) $9 (children under 5 are free); students and senior citizens (65 and over) $14; family (two adults and two or more dependent children 5-17) $43. Fees include an all-day tram transportation pass.
