"Frankenstein," by R.N. Sandberg, brings Mary Shelley's terrifying novel to the stage in an adaptation that reveals a much more complex and tormented creature than found in the classic Karloff movies. Victor Frankenstein has done the impossible — given life to inanimate matter. But his triumph turns to terror as his grotesque and despairing creation follows him home, threatening and demanding that Victor do the one thing he has sworn never to do — create another creature like himself, a companion, a wife.
