Explore the flavors of Wisconsin's past at our newest after-hours event. Whether you're a "foodie" or a history buff, now's your chance to try some of the same foods we prepare on site, as well as recipes from the recently reissued "The Flavor of Wisconsin: An Informal History of Food and Eating in the Badger State." Special guest for the evening will be Terese Allen, who co-authored the book with the late Harva Hachten. Copies of the book will be available for sale, and Allen will be on hand from 6 to 7:30 pm to sign copies.
Stroll the German and Polish Areas as you sample 19th-century immigrant cooking with a Central European flair at 14 food and beverage stations. Enjoy live music from The Goodtime Dutchmen, Concertina Millie and "Chirps" Smith and Ben Masterson.
